Step 1: The freight forwarder designated by the buyer (hereinafter referred to as the overseas agent) shall send the contact information of the shipper to the buyer through email or other contact methods。
Step 2: After receiving the contact information of the shipper, the domestic freight forwarder shall contact the shipper to inquire about the status of the goods, and then notify the foreign agent by email or other means。
If the goods are complete, you can inform the other party of the expected shipment and ask if you can arrange delivery。If the booking number of the foreign agent is used, the booking number must also be obtained for submission to the shipping company。In particular, it should be noted that the designated goods are the instructions of the consignee rather than the consignee, when the shipper has any requirements that do not meet the requirements, it must notify the foreign agent, and it can be arranged after obtaining the permission of the foreign agent, otherwise it cannot accept the requirements of the shipper。Especially when handling the consignor's goods for the first time, it is necessary to avoid unnecessary trouble。
Step 3: After receiving the permission instructions from the foreign agent, you can arrange the booking trailer customs clearance and other matters。Naturally, the stable cargo for a long time can inform the other party of the voyage information when booking。At the same time, to ask each other, which HBL format is issued, it will generally be the HBL provided by the foreign agent。
In the process of planned shipment, if the status of the goods is updated, and what problems are encountered, must be communicated with overseas agents in time。
